Palma single room

As we said, in our single room, space is precious, and as we didn’t want to give up design, placing the television was another challenge. To solve it, we cut to the bone and opted for the most technological solution of all the proposals: integrating the television inside the mirror itself. At the touch of a button, we went from having a mirror to having a Smart TV. Dozens of channels and all the internet at our disposal from the bed for those minutes of relaxation after showering and before going to sleep.

Many of you who travel alone do it for work, so we couldn’t forget about the work area. Right at the foot of the bed, a recycled table made from one of the old doors of the house provided us with a space to check and send those emails that can’t wait. Having a comfortable single room that allows both rest and productivity is essential for solo travelers.

Since the bedroom and bathroom were going to coexist in the same space, the walls had to be protected from damp, but the solution had to be neither too cold nor overwhelming. To overcome this difficulty, we opted for a mural of roses printed on state-of-the-art tiles. These are cold printed, which gives a final result that is not as cold as traditional tiles and allows for an extraordinary level of realism in the design. The roses, the leaves of the rose bush, and even the dew seem absolutely real, transmitting a feeling of freshness and well-being of absolute luxury. The touch is not the usual one either—much warmer, softer, silky, never cold. This sensation continues on the floor. Have you ever felt the touch of micro cement on your bare feet? Silky like a carpet, completely different from traditional terrazzo. The choice and quality of materials is certainly a reason to stay in our single room.

Lighting is also critical in order to create a cozy atmosphere that allows us to change the functionality of the space. LED technology was our best ally. Several lighting positions enable us to create different atmospheres for working, reading, or just relaxing—one of the many advantages of choosing a well-designed single room for your stay.

Finally, the bed (double bed!) is above all comfortable, with a viscoelastic mattress and pillows, a padded headboard, and Nile cotton to wrap ourselves in. Simple pleasures that make us feel special. As space cannot be wasted, storage space under the bed, a luggage compartment, and a small safe ensure you can enjoy the city knowing your belongings are safe.

Whether you are travelling alone or in a group but want to enjoy a little extra privacy in the evenings, our single room in the center of Palma is without a doubt your best option. Boutiques, restaurants, and bars are within walking distance—you can take a break whenever you want, take a shower, enjoy a mini-nap, and continue enjoying the center of Palma.
