In March 2016 Dog Admiral Guest House was born with the aim of offering a different kind of accommodation and experience to travellers. We wanted our guests to feel part of Palma, enjoying its streets, squares and restaurants, but also staying in a unique accommodation in order to continue travelling while resting. A city is its streets, squares and monuments, but also the stories of the people who pass through it, whether permanently or more fleetingly, perhaps for a few hours. By staying in our space, the traveller has the chance to become part of that history. They can see and feel the same walls, the same windows and balconies that in another era created the stories and filled the lives of the people of Palma, but also of passers-by, travellers and people from all walks of life who one day, probably without knowing it, gave shape to this city that traps many and compels others to return. To be part of this history is much easier when you look out over the old town from one of its sandstone balconies and when you walk along the warmth of the hydraulic floors handcrafted in 19th century Mallorca.
The welcome from our guests (some of them now friends) could not have been better, it was clear that our idea had a place in the market, people from all over the world wanted to live the experience of spending a few days with us or perhaps simply start or end their trip to Mallorca at the Dog Admiral Guest House. This welcome gave us the enthusiasm, the encouragement and the means to expand our project, increasing the number of rooms and trying to adapt each of them to different needs, thus broadening the profile of travellers.
In the summer of 2024, to improve the experience at Dog Admiral Guest House, we launched our website, which allows us to offer a more personalised stay and treatment. As well as being able to see our rooms in detail, travellers will be able to add extras to their trip and make it unforgettable. The facilities on our website also allow us to get to know our guests better and offer a more personalised service. Adding little details to the trip makes it go from unique to exceptional.
